This hotel is outstanding the service is above and beyond, the staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The grounds are amazing with lots to do. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to any.

We went to the Heritage for a family celebration at Easter. There were fourteen of us and we had self catering as well as rooms in the hotel. It was the small gestures from the wonderful staff that everyone talked about afterwards, the Easter eggs left inside the door of the apartment for each child and the kid's club, they loved it. The older children tried the driving range and were supplied with golf clubs: they went straight back the next day. Some of us enjoyed strolling around the walking track, four of us played the par 3 and the experienced golfers played the golf course. On Good Friday we ate in the Italian restaurant, the children's drinks and ice-creams were on the house, what a nice touch. On Saturday we ate in the bar all together in the evening, and that's when the children discovered the cinema. A full cinema all to themselves with a choice of films to watch and a very obliging concierge to change them as required. On Sunday we had our celebratory dinner in the dining room,. a special desert and a Happy Birthday sung by the waiters and waitresses was lovely. The children had great babysitters provided by the hotel. Thank you to all in the Heritage Hotel, we hope to see you next Easter, Theresa Murphy

Amazing, we only stayed one night but the services offered were so abundant i only wish i could stay longer to take advantage of everything!

Having just returned from a most enjoyable weekend in the Heritage Golf and Spa Resort my wife and I would like to thank all the staff who helped to make our stay a memorable one. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The decor, service, food and ambience was five star and surpassed any experience we have had in other hotels where we have stayed. The only downside was that our stay was not long enough. We are looking forward to a return visit in the future. Regards Pat Walsh

We had used this hotel previously for our wedding reception so know it very well. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we could not speak highly enough of it. The staff are all very polite and nothing is too much trouble. The dining is excellent and the restaurant is very relaxed and enjoyable. I would recommend anyone who has the opportunity to go and stay here. It will be a treat they won't forget. Thanks again. Niall & Cera Shanahan.

Excellent hotel. We stayed there for an overnight girlie break ,did spa treatments and then had dinner in the Italian restaurant. I would highly recommend it.

hotel is well sign posted and easy to reach. Room had no view which was disappointing, farly clean, although it and the hotel needed a deep clean to include painting and decorating where needed. Rroom also had no fridge which disappointing, given that a glass of wine in the bar was either €7.50 or €10.50 depending on the size. the bathroom was very nice, the feature of the room in fact. We used the 5.5km walking track which was very nice; we did not go to the leisure centre. it is nothing special. unless you book a treament, it is a very expensive extra to use the wet area of the spa. this is very disappointeing given the basis room rate was €200 for the sat nite we stayed, we had a fixed price meal in the hotel restaurant at €40 each. It was good, althouugh all the extras for certain menu items was off-putting, breakfast was excellent and worthy of the hotel's rating., overall it was a nice stay, not sure if value for money was received, when booking, i mentioned it was a treat for my wifes birthday, , nothing extra was offered or given which was disappointing,

Great stay. Pigsback deal amazing value. Only problem was beds not made up as twins on arrival after booking them as so and also confirming over the phone prior to arrival. But staff offered something else by way of compensation for disturbance.

My husband and I spent three days in the Heritage at the beginning of April to celebarate our anniversary and had a wonderful time from start to finish. The room was amazing wth views on to the golf course. We ate in the Italian, the golf club, the bar in hotel and the hotel restaurant and in each the food ws delicious. The golf course is really challenging with some beautiful views along the way. I had a wonderful facial and the therapist was a really lovely girl. In fact I couldn't recommend the hotel staff more they were so professional yet friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We've booked a return trip in June with the in-laws and we cannot wait!!!

1. Accommodation - Excellent 2. Cleanliness - Excellent 3. Staff Service - Excellent 4. Health Spa - Excellent 5. Golf Club - Didnt use 6. Food - Good 7. Value - Very Good This was our second time staying at the Heritage Hotel and this occassion was equally as enjoyable as our first. It is the type of Hotel that we would be comfortable in returning regulary as it ticks all the right boxes. Me and my fiancée stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The hotel is lovely and the staff were very welcoming. The rooms are fabulous with everything you could need. We had an evening meal on the 2nd night which was nice but the highlight of the stay was our spa day. The facilities are amazing and the staff were great when we got our massage and facial. We'll be definitely back again and might try out the golf course next time!!!

The only disappointing thing about The Heritage was the short stay. Beautiful hotel, rooms were gorgeous with an evening turn down service with a bottle of water and a yummy chocolate !!. Fab shower and a lovely deep bath .....heaven. We had afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and was gorgeous especially the scone....delish. We had our evening meal in the Sol restaurant. Myself and my husband had the sirloin. It was cooked to our requirements and it melted in the mouth. My husband was just short of licking the plate and that's a real compliment as he is a chef and is particular. The staff were friendly and very attentive and made you feel very welcome.We only stayed one night but we will be back for a longer stay very soon. Would definitely recommend this fab hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Heritage - the accomodation and the food were excellent - all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - our special thanks to Jose for his professionalism and kindness, and for making our dining experience so special. Unfortunately the weather did not allow for a round of golf but we made full use of the Spa facilities. A great place for a relaxing break. Paul & Anne Maguire

The experience was most enjoyable. The facilities were very good. The staff were very professional and friendly. Dinner in the Arlington Room was good but did not meet expectations. We would recommend the Heritage to others.

Great stay. The customer service was excellent. The rooms were spacious - loved the bathrooms. The only downside was the loud people in the room next to me very early on Monday morning. I could hear large parts of their conversations. There was a connecting door so that may be why the sound was so clear. The spa was lovely.

Wonderful hotel. Room was fantastic - spacious, comfortable and spotless. Very elegant reception and lounge area. Lovely breakfast. Staff were excellent. This hotel is perfect for any couple who enjoy a golf and relaxation break.

Enjoyed the stay but thought it a bit over priced for what was on offer . The golf course was good but the greens had been hollow cored so that was a bit disappointing but would like to play it again

The heritage golf and spa resort was the best i have ever stayed in. The staff were really attentative and so friendly and the room was immaculate . Everything down to the welcome note on our television screen made our stay very enjoyable,five stars is not enough for this experience

What awonderful experience me and my three friends had in the Heritage Golf and Spa resort this week.From the moment we arrived we were made feel so welcome our accomodation was first class food was top class in the three restaurants and the spa was divine. Thank you to all involved in this resort I have being singing your praises since I got home.Looking forward to playing the golf on my next visit in october

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay commencing at our arrival and the afternoon tea. The hotel itself is beautiful. The dining areas, bedrooms and leisure centre were stupendous. All our meals were lovely and served very professionally by superb. Would we go back again .. try and stop us!! Star rating must be 5. Claire Tracey

Hotel was very nice but the Health club was big let down . There was nothing nice about the swimming pool very bland no atmosphere. The restaurant was very good the staff was very helpful.

Myself and my Husband had a very enjoyable stay in the Heritage last Saturday night, 06 April. Our room was lovely, and what a shower!! When we arrived we had afternoon tea in the bar, which was gorgeous and then we went to the Spa for the Heritage Spa experience which we really enjoyed. We had dinner in the Arlington Room which was quite enjoyable other than we ordered wine at the start of the meal but didn't receive it until we had started our main course and we were disappointed that there was no potato of any sort served with our meal. I know there were different options on the menu, but I assumed they were if you wanted extra. One other thing I'd like to bring to your attention is that I received not one, not two, but three dirty glasses during my time there. This happens to really annoy me at the best of times, but I would not have expected it in a 5 star hotel. This happened in the Arlington Room for dinner, the bar and the Arlington Room again for breakfast. I don't want this review to end on a negative as in all honestly we really enjoyed our stay, but also feel strong enough to mention the above. We look forward to returning to the Heritage again the future.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the heritage. we have stayed twice before and we have recommended three other couples to come and stay since pur last visit. they all had an amazing time. when we arrived their was a 'happy birthday' dessert in the room which was a lovely touch. (it was both our birthdays that week) we will definitely stay again and are looking forward to it already! ! mary gormley and aidan carr

Decor is appealing. Staff were plesant and helpful. Room was nice but was not execeptional More 4 star than 5 star. The reason for 3 stars is the breakfast. The breakfast is buffet style and is very disappointing. Very much 3 star food at breakfast.

Dear Sir/Madam, Overall, the stay was very pleasant. The house we stayed in overlooking the Golf Course was extremely spacious and had all the mod cons that would be expected. The hotel and spa were amazing, as was the food and service provided. My only issue, which may be minor to some, is that the TV in the house only had RTE and TV3 etc, it did not have BBC/Channel 4/ITV nor did it have Sky. For a 5star hotel this would be an issue for me and would influence whether I may return. We have stayed at other hotels of a similar stature ie Fota Island, and they would have the full array of channels in the houses there. Kind regards, James

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay in the hotel. Room was magnificent (we were treated to an upgrade to a suite by family) and facilities were lovely. The service was not what we would expect in a 5 star hotel and hence the 4 star rating. It took an e-mail and 2 phone calls to make a dinner reservation and I couldn't get a spa reservation due to my e-mail being missed. Staff overall were nice, but little things like asking for tea to be served with my food in the bar and my tea was totally forgotten about which would have been fine if we could have caught the attention of the waitress to rectify but she seemed to forget our existence once we were served! Dinner in the Arlington was lovely but we were interrupted at least 10 times while eating to be asked if everything was ok - total opposite of the bar. That said service was fast and friendly if a tad too attentive. Food was delicious and there was a Happy Birthday dessert left in our room which was the possibly the nicest dessert I've ever had. Breakfast served in our room in the morning was the best room service I've ever experienced, food was hot and every detail had been attended too. Overall a really nice break but very pricey - dinner B&B was €220 midweek and we paid €100 in extras which included lunch in the bar and wine at dinner - but worth the treat would definitely go again.

We really enjoyed the experience at the hotel and spa. We had an issue with some noise, but this was dealt with very satisfactorily by both the night porter and the duty manager next day. Our room was perfect and food in the hotel was excellent. The only thing I may mention is that I had a massage as part of the package, and while it was excellent, I thought it was meant to be an hour and actually was 45 minutes. However, the heritage spa experience was excellent .

Very nice hotel in a nice location. Very friendly and a professional staff. Hotel room was overly warm and tv didnt work off the remote control. Pity the golf course was closed for two days during my stay but understand greens needed to be treated. 31/2 stars out of 5

Excellent service from start to finish. A family break with a difference. The touches for the children like the kids club, milk and cookies at night and cinema made it extra special. Staff are kind and warm to adults and children alike. Food was great also. We will return!

We really enjoyed our one night stay at The Heritage . We found the Receptionist very friendly and efficient. The hotel generally was very clean and well kept but a little tired at this stage. Our only complaint would be that the Bar staff were a bit slow to serve even though the Bar was not busy. We upgraded to a Superior room which was lovely but the shower was a big disappointment - very bad pressure and flow, maybe just needs maintainence.!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, for a 5 star hotel I would have expected an Al le Carte menu at breakfast and not a buffett. Also the concierge was not manned at all times, this may not normmaly be an issue but as the hotel was busy the check-in desk was always busy. Best Regards Mark

I stayed one night in the Heritage having seen an offer through Travelzoo - I found the hotel, the staff and the failities to be of the very highest standard. The Italian Restaurant was an excellent place to enjoy a nice meal and it was reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will certainly stay there again.

A wonderfully peaceful oasis of calm for us, and an escape from the stresses of two very busy lives!!! We loved the dinner in the Arlington Restaurant (especially the scallops starter!), and the Heritage Spa Experience was truly relaxing. As regular visitors to the Heritage, we treasure this place and stay here about 3/4 times a year, so we cannot recommend it highly enough! Therese Fahy and Dominic Dudley

Excellent stay at the beautiful hotel. Room and hotel itself really comfortable and relaxing. Lovely walkway around the golf course. Dinner in the Italian restaurant very enjoyable. Long delays in the bar when ordering barfood. Also, the "vegetarian" caesar salad arrived with bacon - a big oversight when it was marked with a V.

We stayed as a Family of 2 Adults & 3 Children & we really enjoyed our Easter weekend in the Heritage. Facilities were excellent & breakfast was great. The Kids had a brilliant time & absolutely loved the freshly baked cookies & milk dropped up to the room each night. They met lots of new friends and the Kids Clubs which catered from 4-12 year olds allowed us Adults some free time to enjoy the hotel facilities...I'm sure that if you were a golfer it would be the ultimate place to play, relax & entertain your family in one Holiday. So I would highly recommend this hotel if you just want to get away from it all and relax for a few days. Also Kildare Village is only 20 min away from the Hotel...which might encourage any shoppers to book this wonderful Hotel!!
