I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say a very big thank you to you and your team for making our recent wedding weekend at the Heritage so memorable. The quality of the food and the quality of the service at the hotel for the entire weekend was absolutely fantastic….and I loved the BBQ Burgers, they were exactly what I was looking for!!!! Many of the guests also commented on the general friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff throughout the entire weekend so I’m sure it will lead to plenty more business in the future. Anyway, many thanks again and Trish & I look forward to staying at the Heritage many more times again in the future.

Back a few weeks now from our Honeymoon & just settling back into normality again. I just wanted to send an email on behalf of Gary & myself to thank you & theb staff at The Heritage for all you done for us on our Wedding Day... everything was one hundred percent perfect and we could not fault anything. From the moment we walked through the doors of the hotel we were treated so well & the meal itself was wonderful & everyone was so pleased with the service & standards. Since the Wedding all our guests have been talking about the hotel & we were worried initially about the distance between the church & hotel {over an hour} but we are so glad now we dedcied to go with the Heritage & your 5 star service & professionalism was noticed by all. We had the most amazing day on the 27th.Everything about the hotel was perfect. The staff were superb, the hotel was excellent, and everything was so easy once we got there. I am sorry we never made it to The Spa though, it gives me an excuse to go back now!! My favourite part was how they served dinner, absolutely loved the conducting of the top table serving!! :-) Everyone had very good things to say about The Heritage, and its all credit tot he staff & management down there. I just hope you guys survive the dreaded recession.

"We had our wedding reception at The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort in Killenard in late June 2010. The setting, the resort, the staff & the wedding coordinating team were next to none. No detail or request was left to the imagination. David & Annie in the events department were rock stars!! In our eyes they went above & beyond & were so accommodating in every task from the food tasting to the finer details on the day. To see the location, the setting, the ballroom & the resort will only justify a true understanding of how beautiful & collectively unique this venue is. The food was what you expect of a 5 star restaurant quality and that was not only from us but came from a variety of not only Irish but international guests. We searched a lot of Irish venues from Dublin to Galway & nothing compared to what we found in selecting The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort.. it was magical!"

"We had a magical wedding day at The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort. From the moment we arrived at the resort we were treated like royalty. The Resort General Manager met us at the entrance and welcomed us with a glass of bubbly. The staff were attentive and attention to detail could be seen every where, from the service and assistance we got from the events team right through to the serving staff and food and beverage manager on the day. Our guests all commented that the food was one of the best meals they had ever tasted at a wedding before and the party continued well into the small hours as our band kept people dancing all night. We just celebrated our 6 month anniversary as husband and wife and to this day our guests are telling us what an amazing time they had and how the staff at the Heritage could not have been more courteous and professional. As you know Gavan is Irish and I am from the US, so our first priority was finding a place that felt like a 5-star getaway for all of our guests, no matter how far they had travelled. We began our search looking at Irish Castles and were discouraged when we realized they were fancy but lacked the relaxed style we were looking for. I cant tell you how amazing it felt, after looking at countless venues, to drive up to the Heritage and realize immediately what a perfect spot it would be for our big day! From the moment we set the date to the day we left, we and our guests were treated like royalty. A few reasons why we chose the Heritage were that: the venue itself is spectacular. The hotel decor is upscale yet comfortable. The cozy fireplaces and lounge off of the lobby were perfect meeting spots for our guests. The rooms were spacious, clean and very tastefully decorated. Our guests didn't have to leave the property for the entire time they were there! This was a huge benefit for our out of town guests. There is plenty to do to keep people occupied. The adorable Thatch Pub was the perfect spot for the day before and/or the day after festivities! There is a top rated golf and spa, walking and hiking trails, a church across the street, lots of yummy restaurants, fun drinking establishments..its all in one spot! As far as the wedding was concerned, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The food was simply amazing. Usually at weddings the food is "ok", our guests raved about the food! The service was better than I have had at any hotel. For example, one of our guests had to step away quietly for a moment to feed her baby and when she got back to her seat, her dinner had been kept warm and was immediately set down for her to enjoy without missing a minute! Now that is service. Also, the main staircase was the perfect spot for a big group picture that I have attached and that we will have forever!
