The Ireland Whiskey Trail is your free touring guide to Ireland's Distilleries, best whiskey pubs, hotel bars and specialised whiskey shops - visit the Whiskey Trail Map. This whiskey Trail will not only help you discover our whiskey distilleries but also the finest pubs and whiskey shops, where you can enjoy the very best in Irish whiskey and Irish hospitality.
With over 30 different venues across the country, there is something for everyone on the Ireland Whiskey Trail. Relax and share some Irish "craic" with informed locals in some of the nicest bars and pubs in Ireland and enjoy the hospitality of our very own Whiskey Bar. where an excellent selection of whiskeys await you.
The nearest venue's to our hotel is 'The fishermans Thatched Inn in Fisherstown & Mooney's Pub in Monasterevin (5 mins drive). The Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre is 30 mins drive and The Kilbeggan Distillery Experience is 40 mins drive. You can download discount vouchers for visiting both of these distilleries here.
The Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin, The Jameson Experience in Middleton and the Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre are former working distilleries, now open to the public as excellent visitor centres. The Kilbeggan Distillery Experience originally ceased distilling in 1953, but is now once again fully operational. The Cooley Distillery is another fully operational distillery one can visit in teh Republic of Ireland, but please note that visits can only be arranged for pre-booked groups on certain days of the week.
